The first look at the new costumes that will be featured in X-Men ’97 Season 2 has been revealed.
X-Men ’97, a continuation of the beloved 1990s animated series, debuted on Disney+ in 2024. The show follows iconic X-Men characters such as Jean Grey, Cyclops, Magneto, and Professor Charles Xavier.
X-Men ’97 Season 2 is expected to premiere this year. A third season is already in development.
What do the X-Men ’97 Season 2 costumes look like?
Okay, Funko Pop collectors, get ready! We’re getting our first glimpse at the looks for X-Men ’97 Season 2, and it’s through these new figures. I have to say, the “Wasteland” costumes they’ve designed for Wolverine, Storm, and Jean Grey look fantastic on the Pops. And it’s cool to see Professor X sporting an outfit reflecting the X-Corp storyline. Definitely a must-have for fans of the show!
Check out the figures below:
Everyone knows X-Men ’97 will follow the team as they’re separated across different time periods, and they’ll be facing off against the villain Apocalypse – a hint was given at the end of Season 1. However, the specifics of what else is coming in the new season are still a secret.
With new X-Men ’97 Funko Pops starting to appear, it likely won’t be long before Marvel begins officially promoting Season 2. This suggests we could soon learn more about the show, which takes place in its own separate universe from the main Marvel Cinematic Universe. Plus, a five-issue comic book bridging the gap between seasons one and two will be released this June.
Marvel Studios hasn’t revealed the exact release date for X-Men ’97 Season 2, but it’s expected to premiere sometime this summer.
