Instead of concentrating solely on the court case, the second season of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder will center on a desperate search for Jamie, Connor’s brother, played by Eden H Davies, who vanishes mysteriously. Actress Emma Myers has described filming the new season as a particularly nostalgic and special experience, and she’s eager for viewers to see it.

Okay, so I just finished watching this series based on Holly Jackson’s book, and it totally hooked me. It’s about this really driven high schooler, Pip, who decides to make a missing girl the focus of her extended project. But things quickly get way more complicated than a school assignment. Pip starts digging and uncovers this huge, tangled mess of secrets, including some seriously dark stuff like abuse and murder. It really starts to unravel the lives of everyone in town – it’s intense!
The series received positive reviews from critics when it was first released, currently holding an 83% “Certified Fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Viewers were somewhat less enthusiastic, giving it a 68% approval rating on the site, based on over 250 user reviews.
