It’s been a busy week for actor Alan Ritchson. After video surfaced showing him in a fight with a neighbor – including appearing to punch the neighbor while he was down – many wondered what happened and how it might impact his career. However, new evidence suggests Ritchson didn’t do anything wrong. He’s now spoken out about the incident on Instagram and is also promoting the upcoming fourth season of his popular show, Reacher.
A video surfaced earlier this week appearing to show actor Alan Ritchson involved in a physical altercation with a neighbor in Tennessee. The video showed Ritchson punching the neighbor before leaving on his motorcycle. However, the neighbor, Ronnie Taylor, later explained that he started the fight. Local authorities confirmed this account, stating that Ritchson acted in self-defense. After reviewing the video, they have decided not to file any criminal charges and are closing the case.
Alan Ritchson recently addressed the recent controversy on Instagram, marking his first public comments on the issue. It’s been a challenging time for the actor, who has seen his career take off thanks to his role as Jack Reacher. Ritchson appeared to joke about the situation, calling it a “crazy week” and assuring fans that Season 4 of Reacher is progressing smoothly.
It’s great to be back to work after a really hectic week! I’ve finished my work on post-production for season four of Reacher. This season is definitely the most exciting one so far – we really found our rhythm and everything came together perfectly.
