I’m so excited! Daredevil: Born Again is coming back to Disney+ for a second season, not long after we got the first one. This new season continues the story from the original Daredevil series that used to be on Netflix, which I loved from 2015 to 2018. It’s actually coming out really close to the 10th anniversary of when Daredevil Season 2 first aired – just a week after, in fact! I can’t wait to see what happens next.
The next season of Daredevil: Born Again begins right after the events of Season 1. Mayor Wilson Fisk, also known as Kingpin, is cracking down on vigilantes in New York City, and Matt Murdock, as Daredevil, is secretly fighting back. Krysten Ritter will reprise her role as Jessica Jones, and Matthew Lillard joins the cast as a new, enigmatic character. As fans eagerly await the clash between Daredevil and Kingpin, here’s the premiere date and time for Season 2 on Disney+, as well as when the season will finish airing.
‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2 Release Schedule

The second season of Daredevil: Born Again will premiere on Disney+ on March 24, 2026, at 6 p.m. Pacific Time / 9 p.m. Eastern Time. This season will begin with just one episode, unlike the first season’s two-episode premiere. The following week, on March 31, 2026, episodes two and three will be released at the same time. After that, new episodes will be released weekly on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET.
The new season will have eight episodes—one less than the first season—and the finale will air on May 5, 2026. A week later, on May 12, 2026, Marvel will release a special presentation called Punisher: One Last Kill.

I’m so excited for what Marvel has planned! After Wonder Man comes out in January 2026, we’re getting Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again. Then, before Spider-Man: Brand New Day drops at the end of July, there’s a special presentation featuring The Punisher – and Jon Bernthal is returning to play him, which is awesome! We can also expect Season 2 of X-Men ’97 to arrive on Disney+ sometime during the summer of 2026. It’s going to be a packed year!
Following the theatrical release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day this summer, the second season of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is anticipated to premiere on Disney+ in Fall 2026. The next live-action Marvel series after Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will be Vision Quest, which is slated for release sometime in 2026. To cap off the year, Avengers: Doomsday will hit theaters on December 18, 2026.

Though the second season of Daredevil: Born Again has concluded, the show isn’t over. A third season is scheduled to premiere in March 2027. Krysten Ritter has hinted at a return as Jessica Jones, potentially within Born Again Season 3 or in a separate series of her own. Currently, Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 is the only live-action Marvel Cinematic Universe project confirmed for 2027 besides Avengers: Secret Wars on December 17th, even though Wonder Man has been picked up for a second season.
