
Stephen King, the famous author, is returning to the universe of The Dark Tower. This announcement arrives as a television series based on the books is being developed by Prime Video.
Stephen King is teaming up with Peter Straub for a new book called Other Worlds Than These. This novel will conclude the Talisman Trilogy, continuing the story of Jack Sawyer after Talisman and Black House. It’s also intended to resolve storylines from King’s Dark Tower series and pave the way for a revival of that dark fantasy world in both books and on television.
This book follows Jack Sawyer, a character readers may remember from previous adventures. Now older and facing immense challenges, Jack must prevent a dangerous group of infected teens and a mysterious force called the Gullet from destroying not just our world, but all worlds. His group of companions is falling apart, and the task before him seems nearly impossible.
The novel Other Worlds Than These will feature 30 original black and white illustrations by artist Gabriel Rodriguez. While the book is designed to especially resonate with Stephen King’s existing fans—those familiar with the worlds he’s created—it’s also a complete story that anyone can enjoy, even if they’re new to his work.
