The Knights of the Cross is coming to Nintendo Switch on March 26

LongYou Game is releasing Krzyzacy – The Knights of the Cross on Nintendo Switch on March 26th. Players worldwide, including those in Japan and the United States, will be able to download the game from the Nintendo eShop.

This role-playing game, developed by Olive Panda Studio and published in Chengdu, is based on the novel of the same name by Henryk Sienkiewicz. It was initially released on PC through Steam in July 2023, and at that time, was only available in Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Polish, and English. The upcoming Nintendo Switch version will add Japanese language support. Interestingly, while the US eShop doesn’t list Polish as a supported language, the Japanese store page does.

Below you’ll find the official screenshots and details for the upcoming release of The Knights of the Cross on Nintendo Switch.

The Knights of the Cross

The Knights of the Cross is a role-playing card game based on Henryk Sienkiewicz’s classic novel. You play as Zbyszko, a knight on an epic medieval quest. Gather companions, build a powerful deck of cards, and help the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth defeat the Teutonic Order at the Battle of Grunwald.

Assemble Your Team & Fight!

Recruit over 30 unique companions, each with their own story to uncover. Completing these stories unlocks special items. Every character features beautiful artwork and impressive special abilities, making the game visually stunning.

Strategic Teamwork & Deckbuilding

The game features an innovative combo system where the cards you play directly influence your allies’ actions. Combine cards and relics with your team’s abilities to create powerful effects like burning, bleeding, and poisoning, offering a new experience each time you play. Challenging bosses have unique abilities, so you’ll need to adapt your deck and strategy to win and experience the satisfaction of victory.

A Rich and Engaging World

The game features a branching storyline with multiple endings, letting you influence the fate of the characters. You’ll also find over 100 side quests and random events that bring the medieval world to life, immersing you in festivals, traditions, and everyday life.
