A new TikTok account is gaining a lot of attention for its AI-generated videos. It takes reality TV shows, like Love Island, and hilariously replaces the contestants with… fruit!
It seems like AI-created content is everywhere online these days. You can find it in short-form videos on YouTube, with features like animated photos on X (formerly Twitter), and in many other places.
TikTok has seen a lot of content created using artificial intelligence. Recently, several AI-generated accounts have gained massive popularity, attracting millions of viewers who are amazed by what they’re seeing. Fruit Love Island explodes on TikTok
The ai.cinema021 account exploded in popularity in March, gaining over 3 million followers by reimagining classic Love Island scenes with a strange twist – everything is made of fruit!
Currently, the TikTok series Fruit Love Island has 19 episodes, and new ones are added almost every day. The creator briefly paused uploads between March 19th and 22nd to focus on improving the video quality due to the show’s growing popularity.
ai.cinema021 reports that creating each two-minute episode takes about three hours, and they don’t plan to significantly increase that production time.
Videos on this account get an average of more than 10 million views each, and viewers can even contribute ideas for future episodes.
I’ve been seeing so much about Fruit Love Island online! People on TikTok are making reaction videos to see what happens with their favorite fruity couples, and honestly, the drama’s blown up everywhere – Twitter, Instagram, you name it. Everyone’s got an opinion about the show, and it’s kinda wild to watch!
One person jokingly complained that people are prioritizing watching the popular “Love Island” AI fruit videos on TikTok over important issues like ensuring access to clean water. Another commenter pointed out the irony of being against artificial intelligence in general, but then enjoying the AI-generated content from the show.
