The Last of Us is upgrading its cast for season 3.
According to Deadline, Jason Ritter and Patrick Wilson will be part of the next season of the HBO series. Ritter was previously on the show in season one, playing a Clicker, and his wife, Melanie Lynskey, played a key role as Kathleen. This time around, Ritter will play a different character: Hanley, a soldier with the Washington Liberation Front.
Wilson will play Jerry, Abby’s (Kaitlyn Dever) father, a key character featured in flashbacks throughout the video game series the show is based on. Along with Wilson and Ritter, three actors who first appeared in season two – Ariela Barer, Tati Gabrielle, and Spencer Lord – will now be full-time series regulars.
