Marvel Studios Officially Unveils Daredevil’s Army In Born Again Season 2

As a huge Daredevil fan, I’m so excited about Season 2 of Born Again! After everything that happened in Season 1, it was clear Matt Murdock couldn’t take down Wilson Fisk on his own, especially with Fisk now as Mayor. The new trailer gave us a glimpse of who’s going to be fighting alongside Daredevil this season, and while it might not be a team full of huge names, it’s awesome to see a group of street-level heroes stepping up to help him. I can’t wait to see how they all work together!

The conflict for control of Hell’s Kitchen exploded in a violent climax at the end of Daredevil: Born Again Season 1, leading Matt Murdock to assemble a new group of allies.

After Fisk announced martial law, New York City is now controlled more by a heavily armed police unit called the Anti-Vigilante Task Force (AVTF).

When Dex Poindexter, acting on Vanessa Fisk’s orders, killed Foggy Nelson, Matt Murdock lost all hope in the legal system. This forced him to gather a team of people to help him fight back.

The newest trailer for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, launching on March 24th, reveals the full extent of his enemies, and it appears the threat is larger than many viewers anticipated.

Daredevil’s Army Officially Revealed

Daredevil

The new trailer for Daredevil: Born Again prominently features Daredevil in a striking black suit. While Matt Murdock has always been a lawyer at heart, the trailer suggests he’ll be spending less time in court and more time fighting crime this season.

Season 2 will likely allow the character to fully become the intense and dangerous “Devil of Hell’s Kitchen,” promising viewers exciting and intense fight scenes, potentially including dramatic action on rooftops.

For a long time, Matt has been a solitary figure, shouldering the burden of protecting the city and managing his secret life. This scene, showing him with allies by his side, feels like a turning point in the fight against Fisk’s control.

Karen Page

Standing next to Daredevil in the scene is Karen Page, who has been a friend, colleague, and sometimes romantic interest for Matt for a long time. This season, unlike before, she’ll be fighting alongside him as his most important partner against Fisk.

It’s particularly great to see this happen, given how nearly the show moved ahead without Deborah Ann Woll’s involvement.

Initially, the character wasn’t intended to be included in the first season of Daredevil: Born Again. This changed after the show experienced a significant creative restructuring.

Karen’s return isn’t just a cameo—she’s once again a central figure in the story, just as fans who have followed the series for a while would expect.

Jessica Jones

Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), who acts as both the team’s main investigator and a superpowered ally, will use her strength and sharp sense of humor to support Daredevil’s team. The latest trailer shows her fighting alongside Daredevil, prepared for whatever comes next.

Although she usually prefers to work alone, Jones steps in to help Matt exactly when he needs it. They’ve teamed up before, having appeared together in the Netflix series Defenders in 2017.

Angela Del’Toro

The latest teaser for Daredevil: Born Again briefly shows Angela Del Toro as the new White Tiger. We get another glimpse of her in costume, sporting the character’s signature white tiger bandana.

The first season set the stage for this change following the death of her uncle, Hector Ayala – the first White Tiger in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, portrayed by Kamar de los Reyes.

Angela’s costume looks like she’s just starting out as a vigilante, and it makes sense that she’s now joining the fight against the established powers. Hopefully, Season 2 will give her a chance to really prove herself and become a key player.

Brett Mahoney

Royce Johnson is reprising his role as Brett Mahoney in the second season of Daredevil: Born Again. Mahoney, a rare honest police officer in the original Daredevil series, wasn’t featured in the first season of the revival, but will be returning now.

He was a genuinely honest person, which was unusual in a department often dealing with corruption. Now that Fisk is running things, Mahoney is a valuable asset to Matt’s team.

Cherry

In Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again, Cherry (played by Clark Johnson) joins Matt Murdock as a helpful ally, strengthening the growing group opposing the main forces.

Because of his unwavering loyalty, Cherry is now a target for Fisk’s team, who are hunting down anyone associated with the city’s masked heroes. Cherry’s skills, contacts, and understanding of the situation make him a key asset to the team.

Angie Kim

Detective Angie Kim, played by Ruibo Qian, is a new character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and a detective with the NYPD. She joined the fight against the villains at the end of Season 1, and in Season 2, she’s fighting alongside the other heroes against Fisk. The new season will likely show her dealing with problems within a dishonest legal system, and she’s expected to have a bigger part in the story.

People of NYC

“You mess with one of us, you mess with all of us.”

What’s really interesting about the new footage from Born Again is that the heroes aren’t just masked vigilantes—they’re also regular people living in New York City.

As a movie fan, I noticed something really powerful in that scene – in the background, you see a bunch of people wearing Daredevil masks, protesting and clearly fed up with Fisk being in charge as mayor. It really showed how his actions were affecting the city and sparking a rebellion.

This really shows Daredevil is now more than just a vigilante fighting crime in Hell’s Kitchen – he’s become a beacon of hope and defiance for all of New York City.

What really struck me in that scene wasn’t just the action, but the fact that Matt isn’t carrying this burden by himself anymore. It’s amazing to see him building a real team, and even more inspiring to see everyday people joining the fight against Fisk and the AVTF. It feels like something bigger is happening now, a real uprising.
