YouTuber Brandon Buckingham says he shot a would-be robber multiple times after he was punched.
Brandon Buckingham is a YouTuber who creates travel videos focusing on often risky and unusual places. He’s visited locations like Vancouver’s East Hastings Street, the Middle East, and events like The Gathering of the Juggalos.
The creator is recovering from a serious health crisis in late 2025, during which they experienced multiple organ failures. This led to significant medical bills, and they had to ask for financial support through a GoFundMe campaign.
On March 15th, Buckingham shared on Instagram that he’s still recovering and unable to travel for filming. He also revealed a surprising incident where he had to defend himself and shoot someone who attacked him.

In the video, Brendon directly confronted someone he claims attacked him, and he shared the details with his audience.
He said to the person who attacked him, “I hope whatever you gained from hitting me and trying to steal from me was worth it,” before displaying a handgun on camera.
“You didn’t get a dollar and you still got shot like four or five times. B*tch ass.”

Buckingham didn’t ask any follow-up questions, like where the attack supposedly happened or how badly the attacker was hurt. He also had a bloody bandage just under his nose.
It remains to be seen if the YouTuber will share more details on his channel, but he’s not the only creator who has successfully used a gun to defend against a robbery.
