Humanoid robot detained by police after scaring elderly woman on the street

Police in Macau had to remove a human-like robot from a street after it unexpectedly frightened an older woman during a public demonstration.

A 70-year-old woman got scared when a robot stopped very close behind her on a narrow street, according to reports.

Okay, so in this crazy video I saw, this woman literally spins around and starts yelling at the claw machine – it was right behind her the whole time! It was so unexpected and hilarious.

According to witnesses, the woman felt sick to her stomach and her heart was racing, so she was taken to the hospital for a check-up.

Officials confirmed the robot was controlled remotely during a public demonstration. The demonstration featured the Unitree G1, a robot that recently gained popularity online for its impressive synchronized kung fu and backflips during a Chinese New Year show.
