Good news for fans of the original Half-Life! Two updated versions of popular game modifications have just been released. One enhances the single-player experience, and the other improves the multiplayer action.
Field Intensity with version 1.7
Field Intensity is a substantial modification for a single player that adds a new campaign, offering roughly 5 to 10 hours of gameplay. Players step into the boots of a soldier dispatched to regain control of the Black Mesa facility. While it shares a similar setting, this mod is independent from the Opposing Force expansion, featuring unique maps and a standalone story.
I’m so excited about version 1.7 of the mod! It’s got a ton of improvements. The maps look amazing – they’ve really added a lot of detail to the environments. Plus, they fixed a bunch of annoying bugs. They also tweaked grenade jumping, which was letting people get to areas they weren’t meant to reach, so that’s a good change too!
