New Peacock Releases This Week Include Wicked 2 & Many More

Peacock’s new releases for March 16-22, 2026, include three versions of the Wicked sequel.

As a huge Wicked fan, I’m absolutely thrilled! Peacock is releasing three different ways to watch ‘Wicked: For Good’ on March 20, 2026. They’re not just giving us the movie, but also a sing-along version – yes, you read that right! – and a director’s commentary, which I’m really excited about. It’s going to be an amazing viewing experience, no matter how you choose to watch it.

Wicked: For Good, coming in 2025, is the second movie based on the popular Broadway musical. Directed by Jon M. Chu, the film stars Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda. It tells the story of how Elphaba and Glinda grow apart, with Elphaba becoming a defiant witch who fights for the rights of animals against the dishonest Wizard (played by Jeff Goldblum), while Glinda becomes known as a symbol of goodness in the Emerald City.

On the same day as the movie’s release, Peacock will stream “Defying Gravity: The Curtain Rises,” a special that takes viewers behind the scenes of Wicked. The special features Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande discussing their experiences preparing to play their roles in Oz. Viewers will also see exclusive footage and a brand-new scene, along with contributions from Jeff Goldblum and the rest of the cast.

Don’t miss the dramatic season finale of Married to Medicine: Atlanta, streaming only on Peacock on March 16, 2026. The episode focuses on Quad and King as their relationship faces serious challenges, with intense therapy sessions in Jamaica and a difficult argument back in Atlanta testing them like never before.

As a huge fan of reality TV, I’m really excited to hear that the uncensored version of the Southern Charm Season 11 Reunion, Part 1, is coming to Peacock on March 19, 2026. It’s always interesting to see the extra bits that didn’t make the original cut!
