Version 3.1 of Wuthering Waves is nearing its end, and details about Version 3.2 are starting to surface. The biggest news so far is a complete look at Sigrika, a new 5-star character who will use Aero Resonance, as planned by Kuro Games.

The latest Aero Gauntlets character focuses on dealing damage with Echo Skills, carefully using runes, and working well with teammates. This character could be one of the most engaging and skillful damage-dealing options available.

This is a complete guide to Sigrika, covering her skills, how her Forte Circuit works, her Resonance Chains, and her unique weapon. Please keep in mind that this information comes from leaks and may not be final.

Sigrika is a powerful damage dealer who excels at aerial combat. Based on early information, her gameplay revolves around creating and using Runes, maximizing a stat called Full Stop, and boosting the damage of her special Echo Skills. A significant amount of her total damage comes from these Echo Skills, which work well with her weapons and abilities. Let’s dive into the details.

Normal Attack – One, Two, Three

Basic Attack

This ability lets you perform up to 5 attacks in a row, each dealing Air damage. The damage from the 5th attack is treated as Echo damage.

Heavy Attack

Use Stamina to attack, inflicting Air damage. Immediately press the Normal Attack button after a Heavy Attack to perform a follow-up attack. This also applies when attacking from the air.

Using Stamina allows you to perform a Plunging Attack, which deals Air damage. If you press the Normal Attack button right after the Plunging Attack lands, it will transition into a second stage of the Basic Attack.

Dodge Counter

If you perform a Normal Attack right after a successful ground Dodge, it will deal Aero damage to the enemy. Similarly, performing a Normal Attack immediately after using Dodge Counter will execute the third stage of your Basic Attack.

Mid-air Dodge Counter

If you perform a Normal Attack right after a successful mid-air Dodge, it will deal Aero DMG to the target. Similarly, performing a Normal Attack immediately after using Dodge Counter will execute the third stage of your Basic Attack.

Resonance Skill – Royan Close Quarters Combat

BOOMY BOOM!

Hit the enemy, inflicting Anemo damage. If you press the Normal Attack button right after using BOOMY BOOM!, you’ll perform a more powerful third-stage Normal Attack.

BIG BOOMY BOOM!

Shortly after using the fourth level of your Basic Attack, you’ll unlock BIG BOOMY BOOM! This skill deals Aero damage and is treated as an Echo Skill.

Soliskin to the Aid

After reaching 50 Full Stop points, quickly use your Resonance Skill after performing your fourth Basic Attack to summon Soliskin, which deals Aero damage (this damage is treated as an Echo Skill).

Resonance Liberation – Where Trust Leads Me!

Deal Aero DMG (considered Echo Skill DMG). Gain Divergent for 20s.

Divergent

Whenever Sigrika uses her fifth Basic Attack stage, the skill ‘BIG BOOMY BOOM!’, or ‘Soliskin to the Aid’, she also gets an extra Rune of the opposite type and eliminates the Divergent status effect.

  • When Sigrika holds Divergent and Convergent at the same time, only Divergent takes effect.
  • When Sigrika holds 100 points of Full Stop, Divergent doesn’t take effect.

True Names Invoked – Inherent Skill

Casting Intro Skill – Solsworn Etymology grants Convergent for 20s.

Convergent

Whenever Sigrika uses her fifth Basic Attack, the skill BIG BOOMY BOOM!, or Soliskin to the Aid, she gains an extra Rune of that skill type and gets rid of the Convergent status effect.

If Sigrika has both Divergent and Convergent active at the same time, only Divergent will work.

If Sigrika has 100 Full Stop points, the Convergent effect will be disabled.

True Names Aligned – Inherent Skill

When team members with the Resonator role use their Echo Skill, they receive a 6% bonus to both Aero Damage and Echo Skill Damage for 6 seconds. This bonus can stack up to 125%. However, using the same Echo Skill multiple times won’t increase the bonus further. Using the Outro Skill – In This Very Moment will reset the bonus counter, allowing it to stack again.

This skill increases Sigrika’s Echo Skill damage by 37.5% for every 1.5% of Energy Regeneration she has over 1%, with a maximum bonus of 150%.

Solsworn Etymology – Intro Skill

Deal Aero DMG.
Press Normal Attack shortly after casting Intro Skill to cast Basic Attack Stage 2.

Forte Circuit – Within Infinity’s Embrace

Sigrika really stands out thanks to its rune system. So, what exactly is this rune system?

Sigrika can store up to 100 Runes. If it doesn’t have Full Stop active, it can only hold 2 Runes. When Sigrika receives a Rune while full, the oldest Rune is discarded to make space. If Sigrika has at least 30% Full Stop, it can store an extra 4 Runes, increasing its capacity to 104.

Landing a fifth consecutive Basic Attack earns you a Rune of Trust. Using either the Resonance Skill – BIG BOOMY BOOM! or the Resonance Skill – Soliskin to the Aid will give you a Rune of Answer.

Heavy Attack – Schemata of Runes

Holding down the Normal Attack button uses two Runes to perform a powerful Heavy Attack called Schemata of Runes. What this attack does depends on the specific Runes used.

  • Trust + Answer = Runic Outburst: Deal Aero DMG (considered Echo Skill DMG).
  • Double Trust = Runic Chain Whip: Pull in nearby targets and deal Aero DMG (considered Echo Skill DMG).
  • Double Answer = Runic Soliskin: Stagnate nearby targets and deal Aero DMG (considered Echo Skill DMG).

If she has at least 30 Soliskin Vitality, the damage of these abilities is boosted by 25%.

She uses a powerful attack combo called Full Stop. Once Full Stop is fully charged, she can activate her special ability, Learn My True Name, which delivers a devastating attack.

As a huge Forte fan, I’ve learned that every time she uses one of her Fortes, it gives her stacks of something called Innate Gift. Basically, this makes her Rune abilities and her ultimate, Learn My True Name, hit way harder! The catch is, the buff disappears if she leaves the battlefield or uses Learn My True Name itself, so timing is key.

Signature Weapon and Resonance Chains

Signature Weapon – Solsworn Ciphers (Gauntlets)

Her leaked 5-star signature weapon features:

  • 445.62 Base ATK
  • 40.20% Crit DMG

Weapon effect at Rank 1:

  • Increases ATK by 12%
  • After casting Intro Skill or Echo Skill, grants 32% Echo Skill DMG Amplification for 15 seconds
  • Echo Skill DMG causes Aero damage to ignore 10% of the target’s DEF for 6 seconds

Because Sigrika deals most of her damage with Echo Skills, this weapon is an ideal fit for her abilities.

Resonance Chains (Sequences)

Her Sequences significantly increase her damage output, which is consistent with how other characters function. Here’s a breakdown of what they are:

Basic Attack Stage 5, the Resonance Skill ‘BIG BOOMY BOOM!’, and the Resonance Skill ‘Soliskin to the Aid’ all receive a 70% damage multiplier boost. Additionally, Sigrika can no longer be interrupted while using her Heavy Attack – Schemata of Runes.

Okay, so in Sequence 2, my Resonance Skill, ‘Learn My True Name,’ gets a solid 25% damage boost. Plus, if I’m out of a fight for over two minutes, Sigrika gets the Divergent trait – which is pretty cool for building up power when I have a breather.

Sequence 3 – Innate Gift? now gains the following effects:

  • Each stack grants Heavy Attack – Schemata of Runes, Runic Outburst, Runic Chain Whip, Runic Soliskin, and Resonance Skill – Learn My True Name 15% DMG Amplification.
  • Each stack makes Heavy Attack – Schemata of Runes, Runic Outburst, Runic Chain Whip, Runic Soliskin, and Resonance Skill – Learn My True Name ignore 5% of the target’s DEF when dealing damage.

When Resonators on your team use their Echo Skill, all Resonators get a 20% Attack boost for 20 seconds.

Sequence 5 – The DMG Multiplier of Resonance Liberation Where Trust Leads Me! is increased by 30%.

Sigrika’s damage has been increased by 30%. The Innate Gift? ability can now stack up to 4 times. Using her Resonance Skill – Learn My True Name – or switching to a different Resonator will no longer stop the Innate Gift? effect. However, the effect will disappear if Sigrika isn’t involved in combat for more than 30 seconds.

This covers everything that’s been leaked about Sigrika’s abilities so far. Remember, these details aren’t official and could be different when she’s officially released.

That said, will you be pulling for Sigrika in Wuthering Waves 3.2?
