
A classic British detective series is heading to BBC television, and it’s shaping up to be a great option for fans of Slow Horses.
Apple TV+’s hit show, Slow Horses, based on the novels by Mick Herron, has garnered significant acclaim, including two Emmy Awards and numerous nominations. Fans can look forward to a sixth season, and the show has already been renewed for a seventh. As for the future of the cynical but brilliant Jackson Lamb, played by Gary Oldman, there are currently no plans for his character to leave the series.
Fans of the spy series Slow Horses have something else to look forward to. According to Deadline, the show’s production team is creating a new TV adaptation of Lovejoy for the BBC, winning out in a competitive bidding process. Lovejoy was originally a popular BBC drama in the late 80s and early 90s, and starred Ian McShane.
