Insomniac Games just released a new trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine, their upcoming action game, after a four-year wait. Like their popular Marvel’s Spider-Man game, Wolverine will feature the famous mutant, but in a unique world built specifically by the studio.
When is the Marvel’s Wolverine PS5 release date?
Players with a PlayStation 5 recently got a new look at Marvel’s Wolverine, including gameplay footage. We also now have a general idea of when the game will be released: Fall 2026. You can watch the trailer below to see what’s in store – be warned, it’s quite violent!
Here is a brief description Marvel’s Wolverine:
Wolverine is a force to be reckoned with. Driven to uncover his forgotten past, he’ll stop at nothing – using his savage fighting skills, fierce anger, and unwavering will – to unravel the secrets of his former life.
As a big Marvel fan, I definitely spotted some familiar faces in the Wolverine trailer! Besides Logan himself, they showed off Omega Red and Mystique, which was awesome. I was also really excited to see the different outfits Logan will wear throughout the game, especially what looks like a take on the classic yellow X-Men suit – Insomniac really nailed it, if you ask me!
The actor playing the famous comic book character was also revealed. Liam McIntyre, known for his work in “Spartacus,” will be taking on the role, as announced during the State of Play presentation.
Marvel’s Wolverine was first shown at the 2021 PlayStation Showcase with a short teaser trailer that included hidden references to the clawed X-Men hero.
