The next phase of updates for Honkai Star Rail is here, bringing with it a new character banner featuring Sparxie. She’s the second 5-star character available in Version 4.0, and will be joined by rerun banners for Cerydra, Rappa, and Sparkle.

Sparxie is a new character in Path of Elation, and many players will likely want to get her, along with Yao Guang, if they’re focusing on this new path. If you’re saving up resources or planning which characters to summon, here’s a guide to when Sparxie’s banner will be available, which characters are featured, and other important details.

Sparxie Banner Release Date, Time, and Details

Sparxie will be the main character featured in the second part of Honkai Star Rail Version 4.0. Her special items will be available in the game from March 3, 2026, at 12:00 PM server time until March 24, 2026, at 2:59 PM server time.

The exact release time will depend on your server region:

  • America Server: 12:00 PM ET (UTC-5)
  • Europe Server: 12:00 PM CET (UTC+1)
  • Asia Server: 12:00 PM SGT (UTC+8)

Is Sparxie Worth Pulling in Honkai Star Rail Version 4.0?





The latest update to Honkai Star Rail, version 4.0, introduces the Path of Elation, bringing the total number of playable Paths to nine. This new Path offers a unique playstyle that goes beyond the traditional roles of damage-dealing and support characters, significantly changing how combat works.

Sparxie is a new character designed around recently introduced game systems. As a Fire-element Elation character, she’s essentially a different form of Sparkle. However, unlike her counterpart in Quantum Harmony, Sparxie is central to how players will experience and utilize the new Elation path, influencing both gameplay and strategy.

Sparxie is a powerful attacker who deals quick bursts of Fire damage using a specific ability sequence called Aha Instant rotations. She’s expected to become even stronger when paired with other characters from the Elation group, especially Yao Guang, who is a key character in the first part of the 4.0 update.

So, should you pull?

Okay, so I’m really thinking Sparxie is a must-have if I’m planning to seriously invest in the Elation Path for the long haul. She feels super important right now, and I have a feeling she’ll only get better as we all figure out how the path really works. But, if I’m tight on resources or saving up for the next big update (4.1), I might be better off waiting to see how things shake out before I commit.
