Esoteric Ebb launches on March 3 for PC Steam

Raw Fury and Christoffer Bodegård have revealed that the fantasy role-playing game, Esoteric Ebb, will be released on PC on March 3rd.

You can try out Esoteric Ebb now with a demo available on Steam Next Fest, and any progress you make will transfer to the full game when it launches. Raw Fury has released a new trailer and details about the demo, which you can find below. Esoteric Ebb will be available on PC (Steam) on March 3rd.

It’s finally here! The Esoteric Ebb Next Fest Demo is out right now!

  • The complete game is now playable! You can experience the entire first day of Ebb. Because the game doesn’t follow a strict path, that’s about half of the total content, available to play for free before the official release.

  • Enjoy playing again and again! Experiment with different character builds and discover unique storylines. Will you check out the tea shop, brave the dungeon, or try to answer the riddles of the town’s eccentric sphinx? Feel free to create as many clerics as you like, or explore other options…

  • Start playing during Next Fest and pick up right where you stopped when the full game launches! Your progress will carry over.

Esoteric Ebb is designed to give you complete freedom, like a tabletop RPG. We’ve made it so you can do almost anything without limitations! Explore the city of Norvik, or venture into the underground City Below. Once you reach day 2 in the game, it will save, pause, and politely ask you to return when the full game releases. If you’ve tried the demo before, now is the perfect time to start a new game that will carry over to the released version.

If you’re having fun, or if you’d like to support the development of games like this one, I’d really appreciate it if you could do three things.

  1. Enjoy the demo

  2. Leave an honest review

  3. Share Ebb with someone you think would like it

After eight years of work and over a million words, I’ve created a deeply interactive story where you play the role of the World’s Worst Cleric. There were countless possibilities and decisions to make along the way – it’s been a complex process!
