McDonald’s finally brings its Big Arch burger to the US after months of testing

After being tested in other countries, McDonald’s is now releasing the Big Arch burger in the United States. It will be available for a limited time starting March 3rd.

This burger first became available in Canada and Portugal, then the United Kingdom. In September 2025, McDonald’s gave a sneak peek to fans at its Chicago headquarters, calling it one of their largest burgers ever.

McDonald’s says the Big Arch is a step up from their regular burgers, offering bigger sizes and exciting new flavors.

McDonald’s announced a new logo design on X (formerly Twitter), playfully describing it as what you’d get if you made a McDonald’s burger entirely in capital letters. They noted the design would be rolled out on March 3rd.

THE NEW BIG ARCH IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU MAKE A MCDONALD’S BURGER IN ALL CAPS. OUT 3.3.

McDonald’s Big Arch burger arrives in the US after global testing

The Big Arch burger is a hearty sandwich with two quarter-pound beef patties, three slices of white cheddar, lettuce, pickles, and a blend of crispy and thinly sliced onions. It’s served on a toasted bun covered in sesame and poppy seeds.

McDonald’s is launching a new sauce called “Big Arch Sauce.” It’s a creamy blend with a sweet and tangy flavor, combining notes of mustard, pickle, and tomato.

During testing in Canada, TopMob gave the Big Arch a positive review, noting that it perfectly captured the classic McDonald’s flavor and was deliciously satisfying.

McDonald’s Canada recently announced this news shortly after introducing its first Breakfast Poutine and a special collaboration with Drake’s OVO.
