
Tom Hanks is about to play a US president for the first time ever.
Tom Hanks is set to play Abraham Lincoln in a film based on George Saunders’ acclaimed novel, Lincoln and the Bardo, according to Deadline. Published in 2017, the book tells the story of Lincoln coping with the death of his young son, Willie, who was eleven years old when he passed away. Lincoln and the Bardo received widespread praise and won the Booker Prize in 2017.
