ufotable, the animation studio, released a short teaser on their YouTube channel for Bandai Namco’s Tales Of series. The teaser ended by announcing that a new update regarding the series’ 30th anniversary will be revealed on either April 3rd or 4.3 (likely April 3rd).
The latest trailer is quite mysterious, offering few clear clues about what’s to come. It mainly features character artwork from across the Tales of series, including Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia and Alphen and Shionne from Tales of Arise. Interestingly, the trailer also includes a separate copyright notice specifically for Tales of Symphonia: The Animation, suggesting something related to that series may be announced.
Just as a reminder, ufotable previously animated the OVA version of Tales of Symphonia. This anime was released in three parts: Sylvarant in 2007, Tethe’alla in 2010, and United World in 2011.
