MrBeast considers huge live streaming shift with $1M circle challenge

So, I was watching a stream with MrBeast and Marlon Garcia, and MrBeast was talking about maybe doing his challenges live instead of editing them into videos. It’s a pretty big shift, but it could be awesome to watch everything unfold in real-time instead of waiting for the finished product!

Jimmy Donaldson, known online as MrBeast, is gaining recognition as a game show host on Amazon Prime. However, he’s most famous for his incredibly popular YouTube videos, which often receive hundreds of millions of views.

He’s occasionally done live streams, typically to raise money for causes like Team Seas and other charities. However, he’s best known for consistently posting videos over the past 14 years.

Popular YouTuber might be planning to focus more on live streams. He mentioned the possibility to Marlon while they were broadcasting together on February 19th.

MrBeast hints at “big” idea for future live stream

MrBeast teamed up with popular Twitch streamer Marlon Garcia to discuss the possibility of turning Garcia’s famous viral challenges into a live show.

“You know, I want to become a live streamer, Marlon. How do I do it?” he asked the influencer.

“You’re already doing it,” Marlon replied. “You’re doing really well, and right now, 400,000 people are watching you.”

MrBeast was brainstorming ideas for his next livestream. He wondered what he could do to make it really special. He considered a challenge where he’d have 100 people stand in a circle, and the last person remaining would win a million dollars.

MrBeast announced he’s planning to start streaming and shared a potential idea for a huge competition: a last-person-standing challenge where 100 people compete for a $1,000,000 prize.

MrBeast often uses circle challenges in his videos. While he’s done similar ones before, this is the first time he’s live streamed it and offered such a big cash reward.

MrBeast is famous for his videos where people compete in challenges for huge cash prizes. However, broadcasting the entire competition live would be a major innovation for him and his YouTube channel.

Donaldson is experienced with streaming. He’s streamed himself before, and has even teamed up with popular streamers like xQc and Adin Ross to promote his charity work.

MrBeast has often said that YouTubers don’t collaborate as much as streamers on platforms like Twitch and Kick. He’s organized large-scale video projects with other popular YouTubers before, and he might try to recreate that same collaborative spirit if he starts streaming.
