I’m really happy to see MrBeast publicly supporting IShowSpeed! It means a lot that he’s acknowledging IShowSpeed’s decision to seek therapy and prioritize his mental health. It’s awesome to see someone with such a big platform encouraging others to get help when they need it.
IShowSpeed is currently traveling across the US on tour, continuing a tradition of sharing experiences with his large fanbase.
Okay, so Speed’s been through some crazy stuff while traveling for streams – dodging fans in Amsterdam, almost getting in trouble with the police in Dallas, you name it. But on September 21st, he actually got really real with everyone and opened up about how he’s been doing mentally. It was honestly a pretty vulnerable moment, and a side of him I hadn’t really seen before.
He admitted he was really struggling on day 23 of his month-long streaming event, saying he was in a bad mood and desperately needed to speak with a therapist about his mental health. He repeated the need for therapy, emphasizing how much he was dealing with.
He said he really needs to talk to a therapist because he’s feeling lonely and like no one understands what he’s going through.
Man, I’ve been hearing that IShowSpeed’s been saying he really needs to talk to a therapist. He’s been feeling super lonely lately, and it sounds like he just wants someone who *gets* him, you know? It’s rough when you feel like nobody truly understands what you’re going through.

When Speed unexpectedly opened up about his mental health, fans reacted with a mix of worry and support. Many encouraged him to rest during his long and demanding livestream.
MrBeast reacts after IShowSpeed says he needs therapy
Even popular YouTuber MrBeast responded to a tweet from TopMob about comments made by Speed on September 22nd.
The YouTuber commented that constantly streaming live to an audience, as Speed does, is more challenging than most people think. He added that with Speed’s growing popularity comes increased pressure, and the only way Speed could falter is if he lets himself. He hopes Speed prioritizes his well-being.
Honestly, streaming 24/7 like Speed does is way tougher than it looks. Now that he’s become so huge, everyone expects so much from him. I really hope he’s doing okay mentally, because the only way I see him falling off is if he lets himself. It’s all on him, really.

People generally responded positively to MrBeast’s statement, with many expressing support. One user commented that they admired his self-awareness and willingness to admit he needs help, calling it a positive first step.
“Yes, true, Speed can do anything. I hope he gets the help he needs,” another said.
Speed’s current US tour has been unusually difficult because so many fans have been trying to interact with him during his live streams. This has led to several problems, including fans damaging property at a restaurant where he was dining and driving recklessly near his tour bus, forcing him to address their behavior multiple times.
Speed isn’t alone in doing extremely long, around-the-clock streams. Another popular streamer, Kai Cenat, has hosted similar events called ‘Mafiathons’ that attract huge audiences. This pressure has sometimes led him to prioritize entertaining his fans over taking care of his own well-being.
So, I heard from Kai Cenat that he’s done with Mafiathons. He said Mafiathon 3 was the last one – basically, he’s saying goodbye to those crazy, non-stop streams that really made him famous. It’s kinda sad, but he seems ready to move on.
