Just before the new season of Star Trek: Online arrives, developer Deca Games has revealed the rewards players can earn during the launch event. Season 34, called Star Trek Online: Unleashed, will be available on PC starting September 23, 2025, and on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from November 11, 2025.
Deca Games announced that the content added in Star Trek Online’s Season 34 update will be available permanently. However, players can also earn a special reward during a limited-time event. By playing new content like the latest story episode and certain cooperative missions, players can unlock the Elite Hazard Team Set – a unique three-piece equipment set for ground combat. This set includes body armor, a personal shield, and the Arc Welder, a special weapon that deals ongoing electrical damage. The Arc Welder is inspired by a weapon from the game *Elite Force*.
Completing this set will give you a unique Starfleet uniform inspired by the one featured in the 2000 game *Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force*. Developed by Raven Software for PC and Mac, *Elite Force* was a first-person shooter that took place on the U.S.S. Voyager, alongside the events of the *Star Trek: Voyager* television series.
As players advance, they’ll not only unlock new equipment, but also earn 30,000 Dilithium Ore. Dilithium is a key currency in the game, used to buy strong items.
I play *Star Trek Online*, and it’s available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The big *Unleashed* update is coming out on September 23rd, 2025 for PC players, and then console players get it on November 11th, 2025. I’m really excited!
