MLB The Show 26 RTTS – Everything You Need to Know
Overall the biggest updates coming to MLB The Show 26 RTTS (Road to The Show) include:
- Expanded Amateur Years
- More Control in Pro Career
- A bigger emphasis on Goals
- Unlocking Perks
- New Career Simulation Options
MLB The Show 26 is significantly improving the college baseball experience! They’ve added 11 new colleges, bringing the total number of playable schools to 19. All the colleges from last year’s game will also be included. You can find a complete list of all the colleges available in the game.
Recruiting Packages will once again be valuable this year. They help you get noticed by scouts, improve your skills, and provide equipment. You can also earn a varying number of Tokens through them.
I’m really excited they added the official NCAA Men’s College World Series! Now, if you perform well in the tournament and hit your objectives, you can actually earn a better draft position. It adds a whole new level to the game!
San Diego Studio is giving players more control in the Pro Career mode. Beyond simply asking for trades or a different position, you can now influence major team decisions. You’ll also be able to pursue your own individual goals, such as earning Perks.
In MLB The Show 26’s Road to the Show mode, you’ll unlock Perks by completing specific challenges. For instance, the ‘Heart Attack’ Perk gives your hits more power when your team is losing, but you earn it by hitting a game-winning home run. You can also improve these Perks as you progress.
The developers have also included a new Perk Menu to help players find what they need more easily. Plus, players will soon be able to unlock and earn new mastery effects as they play.
Finally, RTTS now lets you simulate games with new options. How well your player performs in these simulations is based on their overall rating. The game will also give you heads-up notifications before exciting plays happen, so you can jump in and experience the best moments.
