TenZ hits out at “disgusting” cheating rumors after Kyedae breakup

TenZ, a well-known streamer and ex-Valorant professional player, is addressing the speculation surrounding his recent and public split from his former fiancee, Kyedae.

Kyedae and TenZ publicly announced they were ending their seven-year relationship on February 7, 2026. They stated the decision was mutual and friendly, but that didn’t prevent speculation and rumors from circulating online.

Fans shared many stories relating to Kyedae’s fight against cancer. She received a diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia in March 2023 and finished chemotherapy in September, thankfully with successful results.

After TenZ and Kyedae announced their breakup, rumors started circulating online that TenZ had donated bone marrow to help with Kyedae’s recovery. TenZ quickly refuted these claims, explaining they were based on a fake image of a Google search result.

A rumor started on Reddit claiming Kyedae had been having an affair with John, the ex-boyfriend of streamer 39Daph, for several months, while still dating TenZ.

On February 9th, TenZ publicly dismissed the rumors in a tweet, describing them as “disgusting” and asking people to stop sharing unverified information and negativity.

TenZ explained that John is a mutual friend of his and Kyedae’s. He was upset that a photo circulating online, taken during a trip TenZ had to cancel, seemed to be intentionally edited to fuel rumors about cheating. TenZ pointed out that one of his close high school friends was also on the trip but was cropped out of the photo, which he found particularly frustrating.

Instead of jumping to conclusions about other people’s relationships, it’s better to work on your own self-doubt and avoid projecting your issues onto others.

I’m really confused about where this rumor started that I donated bone marrow to her – I never did. I honestly don’t know if people are just trying to upset me, but it’s difficult to get worked up about things like this, even when it’s frustrating.

It’s really frustrating to see people spreading false information online. I want to address some things because a lot of the negativity circulating is baseless and harmful. John is a friend to both me and Kyedae, and…

Kyedae hasn’t said much online since announcing her breakup, but TenZ has now spoken about the split twice in the last two days.

On February 8th, the retired Counter-Strike player addressed rumors circulating among fans. He clarified that Kyedae hadn’t been the reason he stopped playing professionally and stated he had willingly supported her during her cancer treatment, dismissing the idea that he had sacrificed more in the relationship.

He explained that healthy relationships shouldn’t involve keeping score or comparing sacrifices; focusing on who did more for the other is unproductive and shows a lack of maturity.
