Who is in The Mandalorian and Grogu clip?

A new clip from The Mandalorian shows Din Djarin and Grogu embarking on a galactic adventure. The film features Pedro Pascal as the Mandalorian, alongside Sigourney Weaver, and Jeremy Allen White, who voices Rotta the Hutt – Jabba the Hutt’s son.

With the evil Empire defeated, remnants of its power still linger across the galaxy. The newly formed New Republic is trying to safeguard the freedom won by the Rebellion, and they’ve turned to Din Djarin, a famous bounty hunter from the Mandalorian people, and his young protégé, Grogu, for assistance.

Jon Favreau, the creator of the Disney+ series The Mandalorian, directed The Mandalorian and Grogu. He’s also directed several popular films, including Elf (2003), Iron Man (2008), The Jungle Book (2016), and The Lion King (2019).

I’m really excited about this movie! I heard that Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni actually wrote the script together, which is awesome. And they’re all producing it too, along with Kathleen Kennedy and Ian Bryce – a great team behind the scenes!

So, everyone’s been wondering what’s next for The Mandalorian after the movie, right? Well, Jon Favreau recently told Empire that they had actually started planning a fourth season, and he even has the scripts written! But, and this is a big but, he’s not committing to it actually happening. It sounds like those scripts are still just… sitting there for now. We’ll have to wait and see if we get more Mando beyond the film.

The Mandalorian and Grogu arrives on May 22, 2026, from Lucasfilm.
