Okay, so Super Bowl LX is upon us, and as a movie fan, I’m almost more excited for the trailers! Let’s be real, while the football game itself is a big deal, the Super Bowl has become a massive event for movie previews, and 2026 looks to be no different. We’re getting our first glimpses at some of the year’s biggest films, and that’s a huge part of the fun for me.
This year’s big gaming event will likely feature fresh trailers for popular titles like Michael, Minions 3, and The Mandalorian & Grogu. However, don’t expect to see anything about highly anticipated movies like Avengers: Doomsday or Spider-Man: Brand New Day – the event will be highlighting different games and content.
Every Movie Trailer Released for Super Bowl LX
Scream 7 (February 27, 2026)
The terrifying Ghostface is returning for another killing spree in Scream 7, which hits theaters on February 27th. A recent trailer highlighted the return of Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott, after she didn’t appear in the previous film, Scream VI.
The short trailer gives a quick look at some of the film’s most violent moments, the connection between Sidney and her daughter Tatum (Isabel May), and the long history of masked killers that have terrorized Sidney’s family for years.
Tickets for Scream 7 go on sale on Monday, February 9.
Ready or Not 2: Here I Come (March 20, 2026)
The popular horror series Ready or Not is back with its second installment, Here I Come, releasing this March.
The new movie continues the story of Grace MacCaullay (Samara Weaving) and her sister, Faith (Kathryn Newton), who find themselves in a dangerous game of hide-and-seek with some of the world’s wealthiest and most powerful people.
The sequel to Ready or Not brings back cast members from the first film and adds exciting new faces like Elijah Wood, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Kevin Durand. Ready or Not 2 hits theaters on March 20th.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (April 1, 2026)
Illumination Entertainment has been increasing its marketing efforts for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie recently, and they made sure to release a trailer during Super Bowl week.
A new 30-second trailer, called “Level Up,” gives fans a first look at the upcoming movie sequel to the video game. The trailer hints at an epic galactic adventure for Mario and his friends, featuring Bowser Jr.’s powerful new form, a futuristic city inspired by Blade Runner, and Yoshi using his unique abilities with eggs.
Get ready for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie to hit theaters on April 1st!
The Drama (April 3, 2026)
A24’s latest film, The Drama, is a romantic thriller that takes the concept of truly knowing someone to an extreme.
I’m so excited for this new movie coming out on April 3rd! It’s all about Emma and Charlie – played by Zendaya and Robert Pattinson – and follows them as they get ready for their wedding. It looks like it’s going to be a really sweet and fun look at the days and weeks leading up to their big day.
Just when the wedding seemed certain, a shocking secret about one of the partners came to light, causing the other to question whether they really wanted to marry them.
Michael (April 24, 2026)
A new trailer for Michael, the upcoming biopic about Michael Jackson directed by Antoine Fuqua (known for Training Day), was revealed during the Super Bowl festivities. This follows a brief teaser released last year, and gives fans a longer look at the highly anticipated film about the music icon.
This almost two-and-a-half-minute preview shows highlights from the life and career of the King of Pop (played by Jaafar Jackson, Michael Jackson’s nephew), starting with his early days performing with his family and tracing his rise to become one of the most successful musicians ever.
Michael is set to moonwalk its way into theaters on April 24.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 (May 1, 2026)
Even after twenty years, it’s the small things that matter. This spring, fans can revisit the glamorous world of The Devil Wears Prada with the new movie, starring Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, and Emily Blunt.
I’m really excited for the new movie! It follows Emily Charlton, played by Anne Hathaway, who used to be Miranda Priestly’s assistant. Now, she’s a big shot executive herself! It’s crazy because Miranda has to work with her, and things are complicated by the fact that the magazine world is changing and Miranda’s company is struggling. It’s going to be interesting to see how they navigate all that!
The Devil Wears Prada 2 will kick off Disney’s summer blockbuster season, hitting theaters on May 1.
Masters of the Universe (June 5, 2026)
Get ready to unleash your inner rockstar and prepare your collectibles – He-Man is returning! The new live-action movie, Master of the Universe, based on the classic 1980s He-Man cartoon, will be released on June 5th.
The new movie follows Adam, an ordinary man played by Nicholas Galitzine, as he’s pulled back to his magical home world. There, he must fulfill his destiny and battle the fearsome villain Skeletor, portrayed by Jared Leto.
During the Super Bowl weekend, Masters of the Universe gave fans a new look at the upcoming movie, releasing footage just weeks after the first trailer was published online.
