Bandai Namco revealed that Digimon Story: Time Stranger will launch on both the new Switch 2 console and the original Switch on July 10th.
The new Switch 2 will offer two ways to play: a performance mode for smoother gameplay up to 60 frames per second, and a quality mode. Players who already own the game on the original Switch will receive a free upgrade to the Switch 2 version through a simple update.
Okay, so if you’re curious about Digimon Story: Time Stranger, you can actually try a demo right now! I’ve linked it for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. I also wrote a full review of the game, plus a deep dive into how it runs on PS5 and PC. If you’re trying to figure out which version to get, I’ve got a breakdown of all the editions and what DLC is included too.
Digimon Story: Time Stranger is now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).
