If you’re excited for season 3 of Euphoria in April 2026, check out this older, but groundbreaking, teen drama in the meantime. With seven seasons and 61 episodes, it explores similar themes and characters and feels surprisingly relevant even today.
The hit HBO Max show Euphoria, which debuted in 2019 and helped launch the careers of stars like Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, and Sydney Sweeney, is reportedly finishing its run this Spring. If you’re looking for something similar to watch while you wait, there’s another series you might enjoy.
Skins Is The Perfect Show To Binge Before Euphoria Season 3
If you’re excited for the third season of Euphoria, Skins is a great show to watch in the meantime. Forget the American remake from 2011 – it wasn’t very well-received. The original British Skins is the one you should definitely check out.
Like Euphoria, the British show Skins helped launch the careers of several now-famous actors, including Nicholas Hoult, Dev Patel, Daniel Kaluuya, and Hannah Murray. Two of its stars, Joe Dempsie and Hannah Murray, later went on to play significant roles in Game of Thrones. Similar to Euphoria, Skins portrays the complicated and often rebellious lives of teenagers, tackling mature and challenging subjects.
The initial two seasons of Skins (often called series 1) focus on a group of friends before new characters are introduced in later seasons (series 2). Though some of the original actors didn’t continue past those first two seasons, others remained throughout the show’s entire run from 2007 to 2013. The compelling characters are a highlight of the series and quickly draw viewers in.
Skins Seasons 1-7 Are Streaming Now On Hulu & Disney+
You still have time to watch all seven seasons of Skins before the third season of Euphoria premieres on April 12, 2026. New episodes of Euphoria season 3 will be released weekly on Sundays, with the final episode arriving on May 31st.
As of today, you can only stream the show Skins on Hulu and Disney+. It’s more than just a teen drama, though – it skillfully blends humor, love stories, and serious issues for a really engaging watch. Many fans consider the first two seasons of Skins to be the strongest, praising the excellent writing and relatable characters.
Although both Skins and Euphoria have faced controversy, they offer more complex stories and themes than typical teen dramas. Because of this depth, watching Skins is a great way to prepare for the upcoming third season of Euphoria.
