TheBurntPeanut continues to be a major force in 2026, having been named VTuber of the Year after dominating Twitch’s viewership charts.
VTubers are now major players in online content creation, and TheBurntPeanut is particularly unique. He uses simple, almost cartoonish animation – think a Snapchat filter – that transforms his head into a giant peanut, leaving only his actual eyes and mouth visible, but stretched and exaggerated.
He’s gained a large following of 1.8 million on Twitch, as of today, thanks to his popular and exciting gameplay of games like ARC Raiders and Escape from Tarkov, establishing him as one of the platform’s top streamers.
January 2026 saw TheBurntPeanut as the clear leader in viewership on StreamsCharts, surpassing popular streamers like Asmongold, Hasan, and Caedrel.
TheBurntPeanut dominates Twitch as VTuber continues his rise
According to StreamsCharts, TheBurntPeanut’s viewership jumped 29% since December 2025, reaching an impressive 11.3 million hours watched across nearly 197 hours of streamed content.
His streams of the game ARC Raiders remained popular, even though he repeatedly warned he might stop playing if the developers didn’t fix the problem with cheaters and people unfairly targeting him during broadcasts.
Peanut’s strong performance was followed by Asmongold, who accumulated 8.40 million hours watched. Hasan, another popular streamer known for political commentary, also had a great month with 6.82 million hours, despite a temporary ban from Twitch.
Caedrel gained significant viewership – 7.14 million hours – by providing commentary and streaming League of Legends esports matches, specifically from the LEC and LCK leagues.
Following the top performers, GamesDoneQuick, Jynxzi, StableRonaldo, xQc, Caseoh, and Japanese streamer Junichi also ranked highly.
It’s still early days for 2026, but we’ll be watching to see if Peanut maintains his current success or if other content creators can surpass him.
