Avengers: Doomsday Report Says Steve & [Spoiler]’s Earths Are Same

A recent rumor suggests Captain America (Steve Rogers) will be sharing a universe with another superhero team in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday. While Chris Evans’s return as the character was previously announced with a teaser trailer last month, the rumor offers a hint about what he’s been doing since the events of Avengers: Endgame.

Avengers: Doomsday rumor hints Steve is on Earth-828

A new rumor suggests Captain America (Steve Rogers) is living on the same planet as the Fantastic Four in the upcoming movie, Avengers: Doomsday – specifically, Earth-828.

MyTimeToShineHello theorized that Steve Rogers, Doctor Doom, and the Fantastic Four – a team working to resolve the incursion crisis – would journey to the main Marvel Cinematic Universe (Earth-616). Their plan involved warning the heroes there and then traveling to the X-Men’s universe to prevent an incursion that would obliterate their world.

During a recent episode of The Hot Mic podcast, John Rocha shared, based on a source, that Doctor Doom and the Fantastic Four were intended to ask Captain America (Steve Rogers) to join them in traveling to Earth-616. The goal was to earn the trust of the heroes on that world. Rocha said this scene was originally planned for after the credits of ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ but was ultimately cut. He believes this scene might appear in the upcoming ‘Doomsday’ film, calling it a logical inclusion.

After hearing that information, Sneider asked Rocha if the source was confidential. Rocha replied that it wasn’t, and that he had known the source for some time.

Sneider shared what his source told him, claiming it differed from Rocha’s information. According to this industry insider, Steve is currently living on the same Earth as the Fantastic Four. He explained that Loki moved Steve and his family to that reality while the Time Variance Authority was eliminating Steve’s original timeline.

According to both Rocha and Sneider, Steve Rogers (Captain America), the Fantastic Four, and Doctor Doom might have been aboard the ship that appeared at the end of the Thunderbolts movie.

Avengers: Doomsday will be released on December 18, 2026. The movie was directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, who worked from a script written by Michael Waldron and Stephen McFeely. The Russos also helped produce the film alongside Marvel Studios.
