Bandai Namco revealed the release date for the final DLC pack of Super Robot Wars Y at Taipei Game Show 2025. They quickly followed up with a global announcement: the DLC will be available worldwide on February 6th (or February 5th for players in the US Pacific Time zone). Players who bought the deluxe edition or season pass will get early access two days before the official launch.
A lot of what’s new has been revealed before, but here’s a summary of what’s included in DLC2.
- Steel Jeeg (previously appeared in SRW Alpha 2&3, K, & L)
- Unit: Steel Jeeg
- Song: Kotetsu Jeeg no Uta (instrumental)
- Getter Robo: The Jet-Black Drifters (console debut after appearing in mobile games SRW X-Ω & DD)
- Unit: Getter Noir #1 (Ryoma) -> Getter Noir G (Ryoma, Hayato, and Musashi)
- Song: Noir Rumble (vocal)
- The Brave of Legend Da-Garn (brand-new)
- Unit: Da-Garn X -> Great Da-Garn GX
- Assist: Seiji
- Song: Kaze no Mirai e (instrumental)
Bandai Namco also announced a new update, version 1.2.0, will be released soon. After finishing Chapter 4, players will unlock a new STG Memory tree, and a new Battle Rush stage will become available in the post-game content.
This update will raise the maximum limits for character stats and levels, and also allow for further unit upgrades. Similar to the previous update, it will introduce “Omen” as a preview stage, letting players experience new characters from the upcoming DLC2 even if they don’t purchase the downloadable content.
