Disney Affordable Housing Community Secures Key Permit Approval

A significant hurdle was cleared for a new affordable housing community near Walt Disney World when the South Florida Water Management District approved a key environmental permit on January 23, 2026. This approval allows the project, which has been in development for several years, to move forward and help address the need for more housing in southwest Orange County, Florida.
