PlayStation Plus February Games Bring Four Hits

February is almost here, bringing with it cold winter nights and the romance of Valentine’s Day. PlayStation Plus is celebrating with a special collection of free games and content this month.

January’s PlayStation Plus Essential games weren’t very exciting, but February’s lineup is a huge improvement, featuring a highly-praised flight simulator for PlayStation.

PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for February

I’m so excited! Sony just announced that the four new games they’re adding will be available to download starting February 3rd. And good news if you haven’t already – you still have time to add January’s games to your library before then!

Okay, so like always, if I want to actually play those free PS Plus games they give us each month, I need to make sure my PlayStation Plus subscription is still active. It’s been that way for ages, and it looks like it’s still the case – gotta keep that sub going if I want to enjoy the monthly games!

Here are this month’s games for all PlayStation Plus users:

  • Subautica: Below Zero
  • Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown
  • Undisputed
  • Ultros

With the current cold weather many are experiencing, Subnautica: Below Zero feels like the perfect game to play right now.

Subnautica’s sequel introduces a new challenge: harsh cold that players must contend with. Unlike the original, this game lets you explore much more land-based terrain.

If you love fast-paced action and enjoy dramatic anime storylines, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is a must-play.

This game is the biggest and most visually stunning installment in the series yet. Players can experience thrilling aerial combat with a diverse range of aircraft.

February’s lineup of new releases is packed with exciting games, including the highly-rated flight simulator for PlayStation.

Undisputed is a boxing game released in 2024 featuring a wide range of real, licensed boxers. While it doesn’t have the same high-end graphics or polish as some other popular sports games, its tournament mode is enjoyable, especially considering it’s available for free with a PlayStation Plus subscription.

Finally, there’s Ultros. It’s a really engaging game – think ‘Dead Space’ meets ‘Metroidvania,’ with smooth controls and a clever use of time loops.

Let’s hope this month’s PS Plus games are a sign of good things to come throughout 2026 – I’d really appreciate getting a strong lineup of new games each month!
