Terraria’s official forum now has the complete change log for the “Bigger & Boulder” update. While the list is comprehensive, the developers have intentionally left some new features a secret, wanting players to enjoy the thrill of finding them on their own.

Version 1.4.5 is a major update that significantly improves the game. It includes a ton of new items—over 650, bringing the total to more than 6,000—and makes managing equipment and crafting easier. We’ve also added more hidden secrets and refined the game’s balance and overall experience.

The latest update has brought a lot of players back to Terraria. Yesterday, the game reached a peak of over 164,000 players on Steam at the same time. Although this isn’t quite as many as when update 1.4 launched (which had almost 490,000 players), it’s still a great number for a game that first came out nearly 15 years ago.

The game has gotten 2,894 reviews on Steam since yesterday, and an impressive 97% of them are positive! It seems the recent update was successful and players are enjoying the new content.
