Wuthering Waves, the popular gacha game, keeps getting better! Following a big update on Christmas, another one is scheduled to launch on February 5th, meaning there’s always something new to enjoy.
The next update, called ‘For You Who Walk in Snow’ (version 3.1), will advance the main story of Rover on Lahai-Roi. This time, the adventure will lead the main character to the surface of the Frostlands.
Along with two new characters, Aemeath and Luuk Herssen, and their unique weapons, expect several in-game events. One event will feature Rover working as a bartender in a minigame that plays like the one found in Honkai: Star Rail.
The update includes a fun, arcade-style minigame using the motorbike from the last update, plus new bosses, enemies, and improvements to how the game plays.
To make movements more realistic, Kuro has refined the animations for when Rover walks up stairs. Now, his feet will clearly touch each step, which wasn’t happening before – previously, it looked like he was walking up a ramp instead.
The developers have updated the motorcycle so it can now drive on water, making it much easier to get around the open world.
Overall, this update isn’t as immediately impressive as the last one, which was packed with new features. However, there’s still plenty to enjoy and explore.
It’s unclear how we’re expected to stay informed about this alongside games like Arknights: Endfield and Zenless Zone Zero.
