Brendan Fraser, known for movies like The Mummy and The Whale, is back in the public eye after a long break from Hollywood. While he’s taking on new acting projects, he’s currently very focused on conquering a challenging enemy – the Lynel – in the video game The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
During an interview, Fraser mentioned he was still playing the popular 2017 Zelda game. He jokingly complained to IGN about struggling with the Lynels and needing better weapons, and wished there were more bomb-flowers available. When his interviewer suggested using online guides, Fraser explained he preferred to figure things out on his own and beat the game without relying on walkthroughs.
Brendan Fraser’s upcoming movie, Pressure, will feature him as Dwight D. Eisenhower, a major leader during World War II and the 34th President of the United States, who served from 1953 to 1961. Fraser also revealed last year that he’s returning to play Rick O’Connell in a new Mummy film.
As a huge Zelda fan, I’m so excited for what’s next! If you haven’t played them yet, now’s the perfect time to dive into Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom – they both got awesome upgrades for the new Switch 2 last year. And get this – they’re actually making a live-action Zelda movie! Bo Bragason is playing Zelda and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth is Link, which sounds amazing. The best part? After it’s in theaters, it’ll be streaming on Netflix thanks to Sony Pictures’ deal with them. I can’t wait!
