The thrilling action RPG, Dying Light: The Beast, is now available! It was released yesterday as a free bonus for owners of the Dying Light 2: Ultimate Edition. Set in the stunning Swiss Alps, you play as Kyle Crane, battling waves of zombies and seeking revenge with the help of new allies. One of the first characters you’ll meet is Olivia – but who is she, and is a romantic relationship possible? Let’s find out.
Can you romance Olivia in Dying Light: The Beast
It’s become standard for games to include romantic relationships, but the Dying Light series hasn’t offered this feature, and Dying Light: The Beast is no different. The game prioritizes storytelling and combat over role-playing, meaning there’s no system for building relationships. Unfortunately, that means you won’t be able to romance Olivia.
Who is Olivia in Dying Light: The Beast?
In *Dying Light: The Beast*, Olivia is the first person to help Kyle, assisting him in escaping Baron’s facility. She then becomes a key character in the story, consistently providing valuable information about what’s happening and offering helpful advice for surviving in this dangerous world.
I have to admit, I was really surprised to learn Olivia isn’t as sweet and naive as she seems! She actually knows a lot about the Baron’s messed-up experiments, and she used that knowledge to help Kyle get back on his feet after he was imprisoned. It’s a total twist because, at the end, you find out she’s been working with the villain to help her own father. But then, in the very last moments, she completely switches sides and saves Kyle’s life! It’s a complicated character arc, but I was rooting for her in the end.
We recommend checking out our guide for Dying Light: The Beast. It’s full of helpful advice, including strategies for defeating Volatiles.
