New LEGO Pokemon sets based on Pikachu and other Gen 1 favorites launch on February 27, 2026

LEGO and The Pokémon Company International have revealed a new collection of LEGO sets inspired by Pokémon, which will be available starting February 27, 2026. LEGO and The Pokémon Company International are excited to announce their first-ever LEGO Pokémon sets! These sets, featuring beloved Pokémon from the past 30 years, will let fans build and display their favorite characters using LEGO bricks. They’ll be available starting February 27, 2026.

Fans can now experience the world of Pokémon in a whole new way with an exciting partnership between Pokémon and LEGO! The first LEGO sets feature five popular Pokémon – Pikachu, Eevee, Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise – built entirely from LEGO bricks, letting builders recreate their favorite adventures step by step.

The LEGO® Pokémon™ Pikachu and Poké Ball set lets fans build a classic moment from the Pokémon world: Pikachu bursting out of a Poké Ball, ready to battle! This buildable Pikachu is posed as if it’s leaping into action, making it a fun and dynamic display piece.

This 2,050-piece building set features a black, lightning bolt-shaped base. It shows Pikachu bursting out of a Poké Ball, full of energy and ready for battle. As a fun detail for fans, the base includes a ’25’ – Pikachu’s number in the Pokédex.

Fans can celebrate Electric-type Pokémon by building and posing this figure in two ways: launching from an open Poké Ball in a battle-ready stance, or sitting with a closed Poké Ball.

The incredible LEGO® Pokémon™ Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise set lets fans build three popular Pokémon – a massive project with over 6,800 pieces! For the first time ever, you can create LEGO versions of the final evolutions of the original Kanto starter Pokémon.

These three figures are incredibly accurate to the original Pokémon designs, while each having its own poseable features. They can be shown off separately or all together on a special base. The base itself is a fun addition for fans, hiding little surprises to find during assembly. Plus, its design is inspired by the natural environments of each Pokémon, making the display even more detailed and immersive.

Capture the adorable spirit of Eevee with the LEGO® Pokémon™ Eevee building set! This 587-piece set lets you create a detailed and posable Eevee figure, perfect for displaying or recreating your favorite Pokémon moments. You can even build it together with friends and family using the Build Together app!

As a LEGO and Pokémon fan, I was stoked to hear about this collab! Julia Goldin, who leads product and marketing at LEGO, said they really felt the pressure – but also the excitement – of bringing Pokémon into the LEGO world. They’ve worked hard to make sure the sets capture the creativity, adventure, and fun that both LEGO and Pokémon are all about. It’s going to open up a ton of new building possibilities for all of us Trainers and builders, and honestly, I can’t wait to get my hands on these sets!

Siddharth Muthyala, Design Director for LEGO Pokémon, shared, “As a longtime Pokémon enthusiast, it’s been a real privilege to create these Pokémon as LEGO sets for the very first time.” He continued, “Because Pokémon has inspired so many fans over the years, our team put a lot of care and passion into the design of these sets, making sure every detail and pose captures what people love about these characters. We hope fans enjoy building them as much as we enjoyed designing them.”

As a huge Pokémon fan, I was so excited to hear about the collaboration with LEGO! Gaku Susai from The Pokémon Company International explained it perfectly – Pokémon has always been about exploring and connecting with others, and LEGO is all about creativity. This partnership just feels natural! They’re letting us, the fans, build our own adventures and tell our own stories with Pokémon in a totally new way, and honestly, I can’t wait to see what everyone creates. It’s going to be amazing!
