Beyond all that, a lot of fans just got a strange feeling – the ‘vibes’ were just off, and it made them suspect something was different.
Fans trying to predict the release of the final episode of a show pinpointed January 7th based on a TikTok promotion. The video featured a character, Mr. Clarke, standing in front of a clock showing 1:07. Viewers then reasoned that a ninth episode would be released at 8 p.m., mirroring the release schedule of previous episodes in the show’s fifth season.
It’s giving me major déjà vu of the Sherlock fandom and the ‘Johnlock’ conspiracy! Remember when everyone thought the Apple Tree Yard premiere was secretly a long-awaited, canon-confirming finale about Sherlock and Watson being together? It’s that same feeling all over again with this current disappointment.
