IShowSpeed reveals biggest reason for his worldwide streaming tours

IShowSpeed explained that his large-scale streaming tours, especially his recent trip to Africa, feel like a welcome change from his previous work. He sees the Africa tour as something new and exciting.

In the beginning of his streaming career, IShowSpeed usually streamed from his computer. He’d often play FIFA (now known as EA SPORTS FC), talk with fans on Omegle, and do a little bit of everything else to entertain viewers.

Lately, though, Speed’s been doing things a little differently. He’s shifted away from his usual desktop streams and really embraced IRL streaming – it’s awesome! He’s even been traveling all over the world, doing huge meet-and-greets with fans in places like Europe, Asia, and South America. It’s been so cool to see him connect with people everywhere!

He’s currently touring, including a stop in Africa, something he’s been wanting to do for his fans for years. While on safari in Botswana, he shared why this tour is so important to both him and his audience.

IShowSpeed explains why he does massive IRL tours

“I always dreamed of an African safari, and this felt like the real thing!” Speed read from one of the many messages flooding his chat.

I’m here to connect with people, especially those who aren’t able to travel. I want to give everyone the best possible experience by showing things live, rather than through edited videos.

I offer an authentic, firsthand account of what it’s like to be in a specific place. Consider me your guinea pig – I’ll experience anything and share what it’s really like.

Speed said the tour has been a welcome change of pace from his previous work, describing it as “refreshing.”

Everyone knows I’ve had a pretty eventful life – I’ve experienced incredible things like the Champions League and World Cup finals, and even met Ronaldo. But this feels completely new and exciting, like a fresh start, and I’m really enjoying it.

“This trip has really opened up my eyes man, seriously.”

IShowSpeed explained that he’s usually driven by seeking intense excitement, but his recent trip to Africa has been different. He said, “You know me, I’m used to big thrills. I’ve been to the finals, met Ronaldo, and done a lot of amazing things.” However, he finds being in Africa to be a refreshing and completely new experience, saying, “This trip has really opened my eyes.”
