Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve
If you’re looking for a traditional New Year’s Eve celebration, ABC is once again hosting Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. Ryan Seacrest and Rita Ora will host the main event in New York City, with Rob Gronkowski and Julianne Hough leading the festivities in Las Vegas. Chance the Rapper will be in Chicago, and another host will join from Puerto Rico. This year’s performers include a diverse lineup like Chappell Roan, Post Malone, 50 Cent, HUNTR/X from KPop Demon Hunters, Mariah Carey, Zara Larsson, LE SSERAFIM, Leon Thomas, Madison Beer, 4 Non Blondes, Ciara, Goo Goo Dolls, and Demi Lovato. Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb are hosting a special called A Toast to 2025 on NBC. It’s not a live event, but will air from 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Eastern Time and include appearances by Lester Holt (from NBC News), Ariana Madix (from Love Island USA), Howie Mandel (from America’s Got Talent), and Brian Baumgartner (from The Office). NBC originally planned a live New Year’s Eve special with Snoop Dogg, announced in May, but it was canceled due to Snoop’s scheduling conflicts. Instead, viewers will be able to watch Hoda and Jenna ring in the new year in this pre-recorded special.
