How to reveal completion progress in Hollow Knight: Silksong – Farsight item guide
The Farsight item is found in The Abyss, an area you can reach starting in Act 3 of the game’s campaign. For a complete walkthrough, check out our Silk and Soul quest guide. As part of the main story, you’ll need to visit Mosshome and speak with the Snail Shamans, who will then send you on a journey to the deepest part of Pharloom.
Farsight location
To track your progress in completing Hollow Knight: Silksong, you’ll need to venture further into the Abyss and speak with a specific character. Look for the area with the bench at the bottom of the screen, as shown in the image. Here are the next steps to take:
- Go across the chasm by using various traversal abilities, including a lot of pogoing as you bounce off floating enemies and objects.
- At the very top of the chamber, hold the button prompt to play your Needolin. The cocoon door will open, allowing you to enter Weavenest Absolom.
- Jump across the gap and pick up the Farsight item.
- Note that you can also acquire the Silksoar super jump ability at the bottom of this very room.
How to unlock completion progress stats
Now that you’ve found the Farsight item in Hollow Knight: Silksong, you need to make a dangerous climb back to the surface. We won’t give away what happens next, but it’s one of the most intense parts of the game!
If you survive, head back to Bellhart and go to your personal bellhome in the upper-left corner of the main room. Interacting with the items inside will let you choose the Farsight and start a cutscene.
Once the cutscene has ended, take a look at your inventory and menus:
- Inventory – Shows your overall completion progress.
- Crest – Shows all the tools you’ve collected so far.
- Journal – Shows all the enemies you’ve encountered and the ones with completed notes.
That wraps up our guide to tracking your progress in Hollow Knight: Silksong. If you’re already well into the game – around chapter three – you might want to focus on finishing the main quest, The Old Hearts.
Take on the role of Hornet and explore the perilous world of the Kingdom of Pharloom. If you get stuck or want to uncover all the secrets, our comprehensive Hollow Knight: Silksong guides are here to help!
