Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 has received an exciting casting update.

The new Marvel Television series, Daredevil: Born Again, started streaming in March. It continues the story from the previous Daredevil series on Netflix, with Charlie Cox returning as Daredevil (Matt Murdock) and Vincent D’Onofrio back as Kingpin (Wilson Fisk).

The popular Marvel series Daredevil: Born Again will return for a second season on Disney+ next spring. Disney+ has also ordered a third season, currently planned for release in 2027.

What is the Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 update?

According to Nexus Point News, the upcoming third season of Daredevil: Born Again is planning to introduce a new regular character.

The character, currently known as “Philip,” is being cast, and the search is open to actors of all ethnicities in their twenties. Philip is portrayed as a clever and resilient New Yorker – kind and charming, but with a capacity for intense anger.

Marvel Studios’ Daredevil: Born Again stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, along with Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Wilson Bethel as Bullseye, Zabryna Guevara as Sheila Rivera, Nikki M. James as Kirsten McDuffi, Genneya Walton as BB Urich, Arty Froushan as Buck Cashman, Clark Johnson as Cherry, Michael Gandolfini as Daniel Blake, and Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk.

Jon Bernthal returned as Frank Castle, also known as the Punisher, for the first season of Daredevil: Born Again, but he won’t be in Season 3. Instead, the Punisher will get his own Marvel TV special, and Bernthal will also appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Matthew Lillard joins the cast of Season 2 as the villain Mr. Charles, and Krysten Ritter will be back as Jessica Jones.
