Free Jane Doe ZZZ Skin Release Date Set for Upcoming Milestone Update

A beautiful new outfit for the character Jane Doe in the action RPG Zenless Zone Zero will be released in a future update, but it won’t be available forever.

Hoyoverse, the company known for popular games like and , has announced details for the 2.5 update to . The game, an action RPG set in a fantasy city, is celebrating its two-and-a-half year anniversary with gifts for players, including a free powerful character, 1,000 in-game resources, and a new outfit for the character Jane Doe.

Jane Doe’s swimsuit skin will only be free for a limited time. After the 2.5 update, you’ll need to purchase it from the game’s digital store, like other character skins.

New ZZZ Update Reveals Free Jane Doe Swimsuit — Available for a Limited Time

I’m excited to share that Zenless Zone Zero is getting a big update, version 2.5, titled “To Be Fuel for the Night,” on December 30th. It’ll be available on PC, mobile devices, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This update wraps up Season 2 and introduces a brand-new character, Ye Shunguang – a unique S-Rank Agent who’s the first Void Hunter with the ability to switch between two different forms.

Ye Shunguang’s special ability, Honed Edge, allows her to enter an enhanced state and use her Ether Veil, dealing significant damage and making enemies more vulnerable. She’s joined by her companion, Bangboo Sprout, who attacks with a barrage of flying swords.

The update to ZZZ will introduce a new playable character, Zhao, a powerful S-Rank agent available for free. Known as the ‘unbeaten legend of Krampus,’ Zhao is an Ice Defense agent who, despite her cute look, is a formidable fighter. She moves quickly across the battlefield, using a large weapon to control enemies. As players inflict Frostbite on opponents with Zhao, she can activate Ether Veil: Wellspring, providing significant buffs to the whole team.

The Version 2.5 update for ZZZ will include more than just in-game rewards like new agents and the Jane Doe swimsuit. Players can also look forward to several improvements that will make the game more enjoyable. This update will boost the performance of Soldier 11, Grace Howard, Soldier 0 – Anby, Ellen Joe, and Burnice White, along with improvements to how they play. Gameplay for Shiyu Defense and Deadly Assault will also be updated. Plus, a new “sweep” function in Combat Simulation stages will make collecting upgrade materials much faster.

You can immediately experience the story through Advance Screening and build your team with special, limited-time character recruitment options. Ye Shunguang and Zhao will be available throughout the entire version. Plus, a special rerun event later on guarantees you’ll get one of three S-Rank characters – Alice, Anby (Soldier 0), or Astra – along with their unique W-Engines, all with the same guaranteed acquisition system.

The latest version of ZZZ, version 2.5, will launch in late December on PlayStation, Xbox, mobile, and PC.
