Com2uS is creating a survival action RPG called Gachiakuta: The Game (working title), based on the popular manga and anime series. It’s planned for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

Com2uS is creating a new game, currently called ‘Gachiakuta: The Game,’ based on the popular anime series ‘Gachiakuta’.

Gachiakuta tells the story of Rudo, a young man who grew up in poverty and fights against injustice and prejudice in a deeply unequal world. The anime has gained international popularity thanks to its strong messages about society, unique visual style inspired by graffiti art, and exciting action sequences. It recently became the most-watched show on Crunchyroll in the US, Germany, and France, and remains a top performer on streaming platforms throughout Japan, Southeast Asia, and Europe.

Com2uS is reimagining the world of the anime in a new survival action RPG. Players will venture into dangerous, monster-filled areas to complete missions, then return to safe zones. The game is designed to capture the thrilling action and unique look of the series, and it’s been fully optimized for both consoles and PCs.

The game is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Steam with a vibrant, anime-inspired art style. It will tell a new story that stays true to the original anime, letting fans fully immerse themselves in its world.

Right after the final episode of the anime’s second season aired in Japan on December 21st, Com2uS released the first teaser trailer for Gachiakuta: The Game on Japanese TV and YouTube. The trailer gives players a sneak peek at the game’s characters, its unique style, and the quick, exciting gameplay they can expect, along with impressive graphics.

Com2uS announced that Gachiakuta is a compelling series known for its exciting action and thought-provoking themes. They plan to create a game that lets fans experience the Gachiakuta universe more fully.

So, Com2uS and Kodansha are really doubling down on their partnership! They’re working together on a bunch of anime, including one called Gachiakuta, and I’ve heard they’re both committed to making these stories huge globally. Rudo lives in the poor section of a town built on the clouds. Below, a deep chasm swallows the waste thrown away by the wealthy residents who live above, highlighting the stark contrast between their lives and hers.

One day, he was wrongly accused of murder, and that false conviction resulted in a terrible punishment: being banished to the wasteland with the rest of the garbage.

Beneath the surface world, the remnants of humanity’s garbage have transformed into dangerous monsters. If Rudo hopes to uncover the truth and get revenge on those who wronged him, he’ll need to learn a new ability and team up with the Cleaners – a group dedicated to fighting the massive, monstrous creatures that roam the depths!

Gachiakuta is an action manga created by Kei Urana, with graffiti designs by Hideyoshi Andou.

The series started appearing in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in February 2022 and received the Global Special Prize in the comics category at the 2022 Next Manga Awards.

When creating the series, Urana believed adding graffiti would enhance its appeal, so she collaborated with graffiti artist Hideyoshi Andou.
