There aren’t enough exciting game releases in the next couple of weeks to warrant two full articles. We’ll update this list if any important new release dates are announced, especially regarding the Early Access launch of My Winter Car.

Release of the week: Duet Night Abyss (December 23, 2025)

Duet Night Abyss is a free action RPG with a beautiful anime art style. You’ll experience a compelling story by playing through it with one or two characters, either by yourself or with a friend.

Among all the games launching in the next two weeks, Duet Night Abyss is generating the most buzz on Steam. The developers listened to player feedback from testing and decided to remove the gacha system – a feature where players collect random characters and weapons – despite its popularity and some controversy.

Wreckborn

Wreckborn is a space simulator set in a vast, randomly created universe where you’ll battle pirate fleets. Success depends on both skillful combat and effective base building and resource management. It was created by Polish developer Krystian Dobaczewski.

December 23rd

International Basketball Manager 26

International Basketball Manager 26 is a sports game where you take on the role of a basketball team’s manager. While it has simple graphics and appeals to a specific audience, the series is well-regarded. The last game, released three years ago, received positive feedback, with 85% of Steam users recommending it.

Quarantine Zombies

The Watching Woods: The Louse

Okay, so I just started playing this game called The Watching Woods: The Louse, and it’s seriously creepy! It’s a first-person adventure where you’re a twelve-year-old kid exploring this old, bug-infested village somewhere in Eastern Europe. The whole thing is about figuring out what horrible secrets this place is hiding, and the atmosphere is definitely horror-focused. It’s really getting under my skin!

Ethernia

Ethernia is a free-to-play 2D online role-playing game where players can enjoy both player-versus-player (PvP) and player-versus-environment (PvE) gameplay. The game’s combat is similar to Tibia, with fast-paced, real-time battles where chance plays a role in the outcome.
