Persona 5: The Phantom X version 2.7 update set to add Justine and Caroline on December 25

Sega and Atlus announced that Justine and Caroline, characters originally from Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal, will become playable party members in Persona 5: The Phantom X for the first time. They’ll be added to the PC and mobile game with a new update releasing on December 25th.

This update will be released globally on all servers – including those in Mainland China, Traditional Chinese regions, Korea, Japan, Western countries, and Southeast Asia – at the same time. While the Western, Korean, and Southeast Asian servers launched later in mid-2025 and have been receiving updates to match the older East Asian servers, the characters Justine and Caroline will be added to those East Asian servers next week.

This update will bring the game to version 2.7 on Japanese, Western, and Southeast Asian servers. It coincides with the half-anniversary of the game’s release in Japan and the West, which originally launched on June 26th. Sega is also releasing special campaigns to celebrate this milestone, and you can find more details about them at the end of this article.

Between December 18th and 24th, log in each day to receive 50 Meta Jewels and a Kagura Bell! You can spend Meta Jewels in the in-game Shop on Contracts and other items. Kagura Bells are brand new and will be used with the upcoming Prayers feature in a future update.
