Apple TV Cancels The Last Frontier After One Season

Apple TV has decided not to renew The Last Frontier for another season. The show, co-created by Jon Bokenkamp, who also created The Blacklist, was often compared to his long-running NBC series, which lasted for ten seasons.

According to Variety, the show The Last Frontier has been cancelled, just two weeks after its first season ended on December 5th.

Jason Clarke stars in The Last Frontier as Frank Remnick, a U.S. Marshal. After a plane carrying dangerous criminals crashes near his Alaskan town, Frank is responsible for keeping everyone safe and uncovering the secrets behind the crash.

Besides Jonathan Clarke, the show also starred Dominic Cooper, Simone Kessell, Haley Bennett, Alfred Woodard, Dallas Goldtooth, and Tait Blum. The series was co-created by Drew Bokenkamp and Richard D’Ovidio.
